What we're looking for
At Drones on Demand we are always looking for more pilots who are experienced and reliable. We can provide our pilots with work that is more consistent and on a larger scale than what they can achieve on their own.

We require our pilots to be experienced with handling their own drone. All pilots must have a valid part 107 FAA Certification and must pass a background check. We expect all pilots to be competent and professional when dealing with clients, the most important thing that sets pilots apart is reliability. Our business is built on making sure that when we say a pilot will be there, a pilot will be there.

Do I need to quit my job or stop taking my own clients?

No, your work with Drones on Demand can vary based on your schedule and our needs. Simply give us your availability and we will make sure not to schedule you during a conflict.

How soon can I start?

Jobs are typically scheduled anywhere from one day to weeks ahead of time. There is no guarantee of a job as soon as you get put on our pilot list, but we will contact you when we find the right opportunity for you.

Am I on call 24/7?

No. At the beginning of each two week period we ask you to send us your availability, that way you tell us what days you're free. We'll only schedule you on the days you want to work.

How am I compensated?

As an independent contractor you will be paid frequently by simply multiplying your hours times your hourly rate, using a 1099 Form for IRS filing or if you are incorporated we will pay your company. We pay our pilots quickly, often before we've been paid by the client.

How much do I have to travel?

You can select your radius. Sometimes this varies based on the size of the job (I.e. Two hour radius unless a job is over $2,500)
